The functions and uses of a school library are of primary importance when planning new school buildings and renovating existing ones. Our Library Programme encourages inquisitiveness in children and has been designed to meticulously ingrain reading habits in them by exposing them to a wide range of genres, allowing them to experience each in a balance and discover their favorite. Through various interesting follow-up activities, fun sheets, narration, bookmark making, poster making, and various competitions, the child is hooked to reading more and more, hence learns to express critically what they have comprehended. Dnyandeep School is equipped with well-stocked libraries that include periodicals, journals, magazines, newsletters, encyclopedia, fictional and reference books. The libraries also offer integrated learning programs that include phonics for pre-primary levels and literary classics for older students. We encourage and strive to maintain a healthy reading culture. |
